Doctor Who will kick off Saturday 1 September

The opener, Asylum of the Daleks, will kick off Saturday 1 September at 7.20pm on BBC1. It is scheduled in a 50 minute slot.

So the schedule for the first 5 episodes should follow:

1. Asylum of the Daleks – Saturday 1 September
2. Dinosaurs on a Spaceship – Saturday 8 September
3. A Town Called Mercy – Saturday 15 September
4. The Power of Three – Saturday 22 September
5. The Angels Take Manhattan – Saturday 29 September

Shooting has been taking place at the Margam Country Park, with both Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman on set. The story appears to be a historical, possibly Victorian-era.

The possibel name for the new companion is Clara
